Soweto, South Africa

December 1, 2009

“South Western Townships” – famous ghetto in SA. It’s a “must go” place, when visiting Joburg.
Go there, talk to poeple, have fun, nobody will bite you :)

There are also rich people living there.

Small private museum devoted to apartheid and Mandela

Vilakazi Street: home of two Nobel price winners Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.
Work is in progress, next year this street will be very crowded

One of the largest game reserves in Africa. I didn’t like it very much because of asphalt roads, lots of people, luxury accomodation, shops, restaurants…it’s just the opposite from Botswana parks, where human doesn’t interfere much to environment. It’s also hard to get clean shot, because you need to stay on the roads!
