Last day of biking in Livigno. Great tour over Trela pass that was specially built for bikers for the 2005 World Championships. One metre wide and level, with a few steep climbs before the summit of the path offers a perfect ride. Especially the descent to the refreshment stop at Malga Trela is a pure delight. After a further descent through the rocky Val Pettini one will roll along beside Lago Fraele before cycling back along the gravel road over the Alpisella pass. All together around 1200m ascent with beautiful views. Very reccomended.

Val Federia – Carosello, Livigno, Italy
August 13, 2010Around 670km from Kranj (via Verona and Stelvio pass) and we are in Livigno – mountain biking paradise. Cheap gasoline (0,941€), cheap boose (duty free zone), fresh air (Livigno lies on altitude 1800m) and mountain roads to die for.
Approaching Stelvio pass (altitude 2757m)

Kitzbühel biking
July 2, 2010Last weekend we spent 4 days biking around Kitzbühel. We had great weather, great campsite on Schwarzsee with pool, saunas, tenis, mini golf. Mountain roads around Kitzbühel are very steep, but lazy one can use lifts. Mountain huts are open and everywhere it’s possible to get good food and cold beer.
They told us to ignore these signs ![]()
