Degli Alpini di Sesto

by ElHefe

Degli Alpini di Sesto path was used as fast link between the Giralba fork and the Sentinel Pass during WWI. The construction of this route was decided as the Italian troops could not penetrate the Austrian territory from the Passo di Monte Croce of Comelico.
In the seventies Padova CAI section equipped the path for commercial use.
