Kranj beer dates back to 1818 in Mengeš, Carniola region at the time. It was known for almost 100 years, then the name disappeared and was re-introduced this year (2015) to all original beer lovers.
Original recipe is from Royal Bavarian court, produced by traditional German purity law from 1516 – Reinheitsgebot. This means that beer is produced only from high-quality malt, natural hops, yeast and without additives or preservatives.
